The RFU is looking for an Independent member to form part of its
Remuneration Committee. Along with the Chair of committee, Andrew
Higginson, Independent Non-Executive Director, the RFU Chairman Bill
Beaumont and a further Board member you will be responsible for determining
the remuneration for the Chief Executive and Executive Directors in line
with the principles of the RFU’s remuneration approach and aligned to
the RFU’s strategic objectives.
The appointee will have substantial experience of reward management at a
senior level, preferably in both the private and not for profit sectors.
Previous remuneration committee experience and a collaborative working
style are essential.
The appointee will be expected to prepare for and attend 2-4 meetings per
year (meeting duration 1-2 hours). The successful candidate will attend an
induction programme and will take part in training.

- The meetings will be held at the RFU’s Twickenham offices.
- There is no remuneration offered with this position but reasonable
expense will be reimbursed in full.
