Background
A very exciting opportunity has arisen for two Sponsorship Executives within the sponsorship division of a leading global sports marketing agency based in London.
The division these roles are based within is responsible for all non-media sponsorship and experiential marketing activity including sports marketing, the arts, music, celebrity endorsements, event creation, field marketing, sampling and experiential marketing.
The Role
My client is looking Account Executives with sports sponsorship and events/ experiential marketing experience to work within the sports and events team.
Key Responsibilities

Work across a multitude of activity, assisting in the delivery of project planning, on site activation, budgeting and administration.

Ensure that work produced meets all objectives set, is done by the agreed time to the highest standard and achieves the best possible results for the company and clients

Assist in the development of creative ideas, undertaking research as requested to ensure they are possible to implement within specific parameters and budget.

Be involved in the research of feasibility of ideas generated.

Oversee the sourcing, purchase and management of equipment/quotes/detailed information from suppliers
-
Contribute to cross agency activity – brainstorms etc

Support senior team members is the liaison with key departments in the planning and execution of events including account management, press and PR, marketing and accounts to ensure client objectives are communicated and met
Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience in a sports sponsorship environment. Potential candidate may have been promoted from a graduate position and had a 12 -18month period as an Account Executive and is now looking for a more challenging role

A working knowledge and passion within football or swimming would be preferred

Ability to juggle a number of tasks at once and consistently deliver high-quality work to tight timescales

Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, rights owners and colleagues

Ability to think round issues by providing solutions, not problems!

Develop and sell persuasively new ideas with confidence, passion and enthusiasm to clients and internal stakeholders

Ability to deliver creative ideas taking into consideration all association marketing channels
