The Role
Our client, a leading player in the Outdoor Footwear market, is searching for a new Product Line Manager to cover key footwear product collections for the EMEA region.
This position reports to the EMEA Managing Director of the Outdoor Group Division.
Key Responsibilities

Drives, manages and edits all regional inputs to the global product process for the design and development of market right product for the EMEA region and key International markets.

Responsible for the compilation of a seasonal footwear brief and line plan for Europe. Key contact between sales, marketing, merchandising and global product development.

Creates concept briefs with end user product feature/benefit and cost structure. Work directly with global product development in assuring product cost and integrity exists in the collections.

Maintain the product development schedule for the region, coordinates, and manages development milestone meetings for the regional management team.

Identify opportunities and needs for regional SMUs and manages the development process of special make-up requests with the global SMU PD team.

Organizes and prepares reports, market intelligence and information to provide for the timely and efficient input into all stages of the global development process.

Works directly with global product development on product specification management, materials management to suit regional consumer needs.

Manages the logistics of product data capture from brief stage through final stock number assignment, pricing and launch to market.

Assures new product commercializations are in line with brand objectives.

Oversees and ensures consistency in product pricing and distribution planning.

Skills & Experience Required

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.

5+ years experience in the footwear field.

Thorough understanding of the footwear industry and shoemaking process.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

IT Proficient with strong analytical skills.
