MatchPoint provides corporate hospitality sales and marketing services to events, governing bodies and stadia. MatchPoint London is looking for a Sales Manager to be responsible for the Core event hospitality sales run from the London office. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate achievement in a similar role with a strong track record of sales and commercial success. This position is based in Richmond, London and reports to the London MD. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Day to day management of the event let business
  • Responsibility for event led sales and profits
  • Governing body liaison
  • Commercial responsibility for the event let business
  • Sales management
  • Debtor management
  • Direction of event planning and delivery
  • Staff training, development  and motivation

Skills & Experience Required
  • Industry knowledge and experience
  • Credibility with clients, suppliers and governing bodies
  • People management skills
  • Commercial and budgetary understanding
  • Understanding of the business
  • Commercially minded with strong sales skills
  • Event delivery experience
