top line sales. To help achieve this Acushnet is recruiting the
critical position of Brand Director, EMEA to adapt the global brand message
across Continental Europe.
Key Responsibilities
As the Brand Director EMEA you will lead and inspire the
Titleist Golf Brand management team with the objective of enhancing
brand value and equity. You will ensure trade and consumer
communication is exemplary, effective and provides high level sales
return.
- Work closely with the US marketing department, developing and
implementing Advertising and Promotional strategies / plans across EMEA
markets, ensuring appropriate TV, print, on-line advertising, trade and
consumer merchandising, trade/staff programs, coordinating plans with all
relevant stakeholders
- Manage Team Titleist and Communications focus spearheading consumer
connection/laser marketing initiatives
- Manage Ball and Club Product, Fitting, Training and educational
resource across EMEA implementing ‘best in class’ service
- Conduct market research to ascertain Titleist A & P effectiveness
as well as Titleist and competitor share of voice, market shares throughout
EMEA
- Communicate and educate Titleist’s EMEA Golf Ball and Golf Club
fitting goals and strategies throughout the region coordinating efforts
with global Titleist leaders and Titleist Sales Director EMEA
- Work closely with Titleist Sales Director EMEA and Continental European
GM’s to develop action plans, promotional activity and sales
organisation structures to successfully execute the global Titleist Ball
and Club sales strategies
- On an on-going basis define EMEA market’s serious golfer
populations; determine serious golfer trial and buying preferences, and
outline trade distribution and partnership strategies to effectively reach
serious golfers
- Participate and contribute as a member of the European Management Group
to drive EMEA growth, development and contribution levels towards Acushnet
global results
- Manage direct reports assuming responsibility for their personal
development
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven track record at senior management level, preferably within the
Golf industry or general Sporting Goods background
- Sales and marketing expertise; ability to nurture and enhance brand and
maintain brand equity
- A clear strategic thinker, a story teller and creative marketer able to
translate consumer insights
- Digitally savvy; ability to steer Team Titleist, social media and
online communications
- Must demonstrate a credible understanding of UK and European Golf
markets and product
- A leader and mentor, able to work in harmony to achieve common goals
and inspire a team of marketers
- Extensive travel required throughout the UK and European markets
including South Africa, Middle East and US as required
- Willingness to live a commutable distance from St Ives
