SRI's Australian office launched in Sydney in early 2010, and subsequently we have worked with major national governing bodies including the FFA, NRL and AFL, in addition to a number if the major Football Clubs from Newcastle Jets and Central Coast Mariners to St George Illawarra, South Sydney and Essendon, Sydney Swans or GWS Giants. Additionally we work across a range of Sporting bodies such as ESPN, Eurosport, Tabcorp, Victoria Racing Club or Nitro Circus Live.

Our Australian office is enjoying significant growth and is seeking an experienced Junior Recruitment Consultant to augment the team. They will have between 2 and 4 years experience in broader recruitment within the Corporate sector ideally in Consumer focussed industries and commercial roles. SRI will only accept applications from permanent residents of Australia with full working rights.
Key Responsibilities
General:

Develop a deep understanding of the sports business sector, building continuous knowledge and credibility

Maintenance of the internal database and ensure a high level of data integrity
-
Build relationships and regularly consult with clients and candidates where appropriate to ensure their recruitment needs are met.

Ensure a business understanding of clients needs including their organisational structure, future recruitment needs and company environment and culture.

Develop in depth market knowledge of clients and react to actively follow up and contact relevant individuals following new announcements
Candidate Generation:
-
Market mapping and identification of target companies and individuals
-
Desk based research for identification of targets
-
Referral led research including coordinating other staff members to access their networks
-
Cold calling to secure new contacts, names and information
-
Source new leads through keeping up to date on industry movements/speaking to candidates and clients/ keeping in contact with clients
Candidate Management:
-
Manage applications of candidates
-
Interview candidates and gain understanding of their career history and aspirations

Administration and organisation of interviews
-
Manage internal database and keep up to date records
-
Guiding and advising candidates through the interview process
Delivery Management:
-
Build relationships and regularly consult with clients to ensure their recruitment needs are met both with HR and line management.

Alongside the Partner, effectively project manage the delivery process on time and on budget

Responsible for the management and evolution of research reports and documentation

Produce accurate, informative and relevant candidate interview reports
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:

Recruitment industry experience , ideally 2 to 4 years experience

Delivery and research experience and capability

Proven ability in developing and strengthening relationships with all types of individuals

Ability to be creative and in thinking ‘outside the box’
