Sports Recruitment Group has strengthened its international team with new additions commencing in its Lausanne, London and Sydney offices.

Patrick Albrecht returns to his country of origin with a wealth of knowledge to offer to the Switzerland team. In his new role as Managing Director DACH his focus will be first of all on the German speaking territories of Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

His experience in recruitment spans 10 years, most recently in Australia, but he welcomed the opportunity to return to his home country. “I grew up in the east of Switzerland and worked in executive search in Zurich for over 8 years so I am very familiar with the territories and know the market very well,” he said.

“Having recruited for many different industry sectors, including FMCG, Engineering, Professional Services and Sports Brands, I look forward to getting much more deeply involved in the Sports Industry. It is a niche market but this job allows me to combine my 10 years of experience in recruitment with my passion for sport.”

The newest arrival to the London office, Kevin O’Reilly joined SR Group last month with a specific focus in mind.

“I have been brought in to strengthen the core sports execution capabilities of Sports Recruitment International and focus on developing the betting and gaming offering in the UK,” he said.

Sport has always played a part in Kevin’s life with previous job experience in sport advertising and the sale of hospitality packages to leading global sports events. 

He brings strong recruitment experience gained through a boutique London search firm and his own independent company.

In Sydney, Tyrone Burnet joins as a consultant, eager to develop connections within the sporting industry and further the company’s presence within Australia. 

His previous experience comes in a Melbourne finance and accountancy recruitment firm as well as in a marketing capacity with hospitality group in Sydney.

Each of the new staff members have hit the ground running in their new roles, already bringing great value to SR Group’s global expertise and capabilities.
